Austin County Sheriff's Office - 2001 - 2007 Patrol Activity Statistics

 

Patrol Activity data is presented as it is collected.  The increases in Disturbance Calls and Animal Control Calls, along with the miles

driven by Patrol Deputies indicate the general increases in demand for Police service from our citizens.  A great increase in Close Patrols and

Building Checks during the night-time, is partially credited with the decrease in the number of business burglaries during 2007. 

With the number of fatal motor vehicle accidents in our County on the increase, a greater effort in traffic law enforcement is being initiated.
